Deck foundations
The course begins by helping students understand the structure of Tarot and how the different parts of the deck fit together before individual readings are attempted.
Curriculum
Students study the Major Arcana as an important part of the deck and learn how individual card meanings are understood within the context of a reading.
Students also work through the Minor Arcana and develop familiarity with how the suits, individual card meanings and surrounding cards contribute to interpretation.
The goal is to understand cards within a complete reading rather than memorising a single fixed sentence for every card.
Court Cards
Court Cards are taught separately so students can understand their role within the deck and how their interpretation depends on the question, surrounding cards and spread position.
The learning helps students build a consistent method for discussing Court Cards without treating one card as a fixed prediction about a specific person or event.
Reversed cards
The course includes reversed-card interpretation as part of the broader reading framework.
Students learn how a reversed card can be considered alongside its card meaning, position in the spread, surrounding cards and the question being explored.
Spreads
Students learn how a spread gives structure to a reading by assigning a purpose or position to each card.
Question framing
A clear question gives the reading a defined purpose and helps the student understand what the cards are being interpreted in relation to.
Students learn to avoid vague or unnecessarily intrusive questions and to frame questions in a way that supports useful interpretation.
Students also learn to recognise situations where a Tarot question should be reframed or declined. Tarot is not used to diagnose medical conditions, determine legal guilt or provide regulated financial advice.
Responsible boundaries
The course may cover ways Tarot readers approach timing or event-oriented questions, but Divyorra does not teach that Tarot can guarantee an exact date or future outcome.
Students can learn how to interpret cards when a question includes timing or a possible future event, while keeping the limits of Tarot clear.
The reading should be communicated as interpretation and reflection, and not as certainty.
No. Divyorra does not present Tarot as certainty about future events. Timing and event questions must be handled with clear limits and responsible language.
Ethics
Ethical reading practice is part of the Tarot learning path.
Tarot must not be presented as a replacement for:
Sensitive situations should be directed to appropriate qualified professional support.
Practice
Students build confidence through repeated practice with card meanings, spread positions, question framing and complete interpretations.
Intuition is developed alongside the learned structure and used with clear reasoning rather than as a claim of infallibility.
Students practise explaining how they reached an interpretation so the reading remains understandable and responsible.
